Blog is an interesting tool for learning in the 21st century

Blog is very similar to a website. I would say that blog is a diary/journal that is mostly maintained by one person – blogger. Usually, blogs are being updated quite often (once a day, once a week, once a month). It is a page or platform where an individual person can write and share their thoughts, feelings, opinions or experiences on a particular topic. Now a day’s blog is becoming viral in social media to maintain their personal feelings and thoughts. The potential uses of blogs are almost limitless. They can be used for anything that involves communicating or publishing information on the World Wide Web. Common uses include teaching, educational and corporate use.

Blogging helps all the people to engage with reading. Blogging connects similar thinker and communities of people worldwide. Blogging helps to get more website traffic from search engines. It is very  important for all to maintain a blog as it will benefit for any kind of work. I do read many blogs and it is intriguing since the different author has different ways of expressing their ideas and emotions. To create our own blog to express our thoughts and ideas, there are lots of steps to create blog account. Here are the nine steps to start your own blog for free.

Firstly,

1. click on the Google chrome
2.  type blogger.com
3. After that, click on the blogger where next "create blog" dialogue box will be shown.
4. Sign up for free or log-in to your account.
5. Pick a blog template.
6. Publish your site and connect your own domain.
7. Open the blog manager and create a new post.
8. Add images, videos, categories and a unique URL to your post.
9. Publish your post

After staying in this college I had learned that each and everyone should have blogger account to share our day to day experiences and ideas to the readers. Following are the reason why blogging is important and really useful to us and others which means students.

1. Blogging is an easy way to express ourselves
2. Blogging  connects ourselves with like-minded people
3. Blogging platforms are really easy-to-use
4. Blogging enables us to easily establish ourselves as an expert in our field of interest
5. Blogging builds relationships with communities and experts.

 

However, this ICT course provided me opportunity to create my own blog and got opportunities to share my understanding of the different topics. Being as a future teacher, it is very important to teach students about maintaining blogs because blogs offer many benefits for learners to learn new things apart from daily learning experiences. I never thought of creating a blog since I do not have any ideas about blogging. I never thought of creating a blog since I do not have any ideas about blogging. I thought that creating a blog would be a difficult one but it is not. After creating a blog, we can express our interest and moreover, we can add videos and images to our write-ups. We can even select the members who can post comments on our write-ups. I am really blessed to be in this college to learn lots of life lessons and the one which I never learned before.
